I hate airports ans I try try to avoid them. There was no way to get to Lunigiana by train in time (this was not a holiday by any means). I had to wait quite a long time, so I took out my sketchbook.—
My adopted father Reiner died about two weeks ago. I made this for his obsequies. If you had known him all this would have made sense. He was slightly eccentric in a very charming way, so there are a lot symbols. I miss him.

I have been to Paris a few weeks ago with my wife. I really enjoyed it. There was little time for sketching, because we covered so much ground. I did this afterwards. I like Paris, I wish my French was better….
