UncategorizedThis is a house in Köln Nippes (probably Merheimerstr). I always enjoy sketching when abroad and don´t do that very often. So I thought I´ll just choose something around the corner. One of the worst things about looking for a place to draw is the lack of something to sit on. I made a lot of comparatively boring drawings because I had to compromise. UncategorizedLike always, I am working on something I can´t show for the next few months and on something I am afraid somebody might pilver the idea (an idea for a new book). So here is another page from my Italian sketchbook from last year and a drawing of C. with a fake Italian background which I like.

comic, illustration, UncategorizedThis has been a weird week. I have done an illustration test for a children´s book including horses aimed for girls. It very quickly turned out that the job was already gone, but my agent thought it might be a good idea to finish the samples for my portfolio. Lots of work, I am not yet sure if I managed the balance between a little kitsch and something nice.
Next time I will do football right away.

This one combines the best wishes for the new year with a christmas card. If you want to know why they are riding a pig (which is very German) you will have to watch the Glückschweinfilm I did for Arte…. Unfortunatly that one exists either in German or in French.
